First Love of Radha Kishan : Love india I love India. If you are an Indian, don't you? Every one loves his/her country. But, then what is special about India. There are plenty of reasons to love India and be proud to be an Indian. Be it our ancient history or today's technological advancement. Indian culture and hospitality are unmatched anywhere in the world. We feel so happy to see our children touching the elder's feet when they meet, whether they are related or not. Do we see this anywhere in the world? Hugging is fine. Saluting with respect is fine. But to touch ones feet, you shall really have respect to that person. I love India for this inner feeling our children have for elders. Another main reason to love India is the hospitality extended to visitors. For Indians, visitors are gods. Any one can visit any other, without appointment unlike western countries. And the visitor is treated with respect, even if they don't like the visitor. The visitors are served food and water, even if they do not have enough for themselves. Many say, Indian education system is the best. We have seen time and again, how Indian students do well in their studies abroad. India being one of the largest English speaking country, made tremendous progress in Information Technology/ Software, resulting in IT boom and outsourcing boom in India. That is how many companies abroad started to love India and move their work to India. Next comes religion. They say we have more than a million gods. May be, they have. But, does it really matter. God is a personal feeling and choice. The religious tolerance is once of the best aspects to love India. We should not count some stray communal violence, as most of them are created by some religious fanatics and political leaders. Did you ever observe the kindness and the smile of the villagers when you are passing through villages? Many of the Indians may be poor in wealth. But they are rich in their love and warmth. They take pride in maintaining dignity. If you ever happen visit a village and ask for any help, they will be ready to help whatever way they can, without expecting any return. This makes an impression on your heart and makes you love India more. Yoga and meditation are the world phenomenon now. Yoga and meditation were in practice in India for thousands of years. All the Indian religious relics mention about these in detail. Whole world knows that these two are 'copyright' of India. Just because India has not patented, the same, others started patenting the same. Now Indian government is taking a serious note of the patenting. You will love India for giving Yoga and meditation to this world. Many yoga gurus teach yoga to rich and famous in other countries. India is surrounded by many hostile countries. India had wars with Pakistan and China earlier and some border disputes remain unresolved. India has to protect its borders with Air, Army and Naval forces. Indians are an emotional lot and patriotism runs high in armed forces. We have seen how young officers led the Kargil war with Pakistan in recent times, lost their lives for safeguarding the country. They love India and are ready to sacrifice their lives. It is rare to see officers leading from the front in armed forces. It is generally the officers who plan the strategy and the soldiers march on, while the officers give orders. How many times we hear that officers are killed in any major wars in the west. All these cement our faith in India and make us love India more! India is a truely a land of love. India is creating most of the love stories and whatever love stories you see in movies are real life experiences of story writers. The movie makers are doing a great job to put their love experiences in the form of love stories in movies. And these movies are shown worldwide in different languages. Film actors like Amitabh Bachchan , Hrithik roshan and actress like Madhuri Dixit are spreading indian love through their great entertainment movies. They are proud of India and taking indian bollywood to great heights.
