It is, but, natural that teenagers want to experience the love. They do not know what it is. They heard many things about love and want to feel it. Small child is told not to touch fire as it hurts. But the child gets curious to know and touches, only to realize that it hurts. Love is similar to this and generates curiosity in many people. Teenagers look for their first love in their school or in friend's groups.

Media loves the topic of first love. Popular director Henry Koster's movie First Love was released in 1939. This was nominated for 3 Oscars. There are many movies which revolve around first love. There was a 66-episode television drama, first love, produced and broadcast by KBS2 between September 1996 and January 1997 on Thursday nights.

Oscar Wilde says -"Men always want to be a woman's first love. That is their clumsy vanity. We woman have a more subtle instinct about things. What we like is to be a man's last romance." How true this is!

What are the symptoms of first love? Here, they are: haunting feeling/restlessness, conspicuous glances, unspoken sweet nothings through eyes, blushing smiles etc. It is a great feeling. And meeting the loved one is like an addiction.

There are many people whose first love is reading books. This is a great hobby. They do not mind the subject or topic. They just love to read. Give them a fiction or suspense thriller, they read it with interest. They keep the book down, only when they are done with reading. The new generation kids, unfortunately, are not aware of the good habit of reading. Reading habit helps them to know more and helps to enhance their vocabulary too.

Love need not be associated with two human beings. It could be your job. For a living, you take up a job. Do you really enjoy that job? Do you feel like getting up early and rush to work? If so, you love your job. Else, your first love is something else. Talk to yourself about what would you like to do the most. That will turn out to be your best job.

When you learn to drive a vehicle, you may not have a preference for a specific vehicle. Your first goal is to learn driving. As you master the art of driving, you learn finer details of the automobile and you will start probing the best car for you. And then, you find a Porsche or a BMW. Your heart misses a beat and may decide to own one at the earliest. This first love motivates you to achieve your dream of owning your dream car. You may later upgrade to higher end model car. But, you will never forget the feeling of driving your first dream car.

We always believe our first love is our last, and our last love is our first. We believe that our first love remain forever. But, time is big spoiler of this feeling. As time passes, we may get interested in others. As you love a thing of interest, you tend to forget the sweet memories of the first love. But, then, when you sit back and go back into the memory lane, a smile appears on your face, which shows how strong your first love was.
