Man, we know, is a social being. He cannot live alone. His nature urges him to live in union with other human beings. He must live in a society. This is the only way in which he can lead a happy and fruitful life. It is natural that we should love our fellow human beings. It is also natural that we should love the country where we and our dear and near ones live. For me my country is not only the piece of land. It is more than physical reality. I donot love my country because it is beautiful, because it is my native land.It is the land of my forefathers, the land where I had spent the whole of my childhood, which is the age of real innocence. So our innocence is developed in this country and it has embedded in its soil. In this country I have enjoyed my young age and that is the time full of emotions and love and everyone gets the excitement of love in this age and feels the true pleasure of real love in this short period. So love of my soul and my heart has its affiliation with my country. Now I am an old person with my wife and young children who are very dear to me and the reason and real passion of my life in this age when everythings seems to be fade and colorless but my young childs fill my life with lots of colors. Infact I have lost my parents in this country but still I am not sad because the soil of my country has the taste of my parents, as they are buried here so this soil now got a new worth. sAnd I really feel happy when I think that one day when my time will be over then I will also become the part of my country's soil and then I will sleep in peace here ever after. Similarly everone has his own opinion to love one's country. Many people love it because it is the embodiment of their tradtions, hopes and aspirations. People love their country because PAtriotism is a natural passion. Patriotism is an active virus. Love hates idleness. Love inspires and urges a man to do everything in his power for the welfare of his country. It makes him perform his duties honestly and zealously. It makes him a good citizen who is always ready to serve his country in every possible way. Some people wrongly suppose that patriotism is experienced only in war time. It is a dangerous idea. War is the most horrible, the most cruel activity of a man. It is nothing but mass murder. Some people say man must shed blood to satisfy his blood thristy nature. Is it really so? War is no more natural than murder or cannibalism .Patriotism is a virtue which inspires us in peace as well as in war. If we have love for our country in our hearts, we will always try to make our country healthy and strong. We will feel the pain for our country. We will always try to help and urge the government to follow just and moral policies in external and internal affairs. We will not allow our nation to usurp the rights of other nations, and we will not allow others to threaten our freedom and integrity. One must distinguish between patriotism and Chauvinism which means blind support of one's country without any regard to the justness of its cause. Many people have sacrificed their lives for their country in past and they feel proud about it. People who have given their lives for the country are still rememered and worshiped. There is some kind of passion for country love for some people. And those people are alert 24 hrs a day on borders to protect their country. Border security force(BSF) is the top team of indian soldiers. These are the people from all over india who are ready to do anything for their country.
