Many more are sure to follow this brilliant actress. Rani Mukherjee, born on 21, 1978 is no stranger to film industry. Her father Ram Mukherjee directed films while mother Krishna was a playback singer. Her brother Raja Mukherjee is a film producer and director. Rani Mukherjee's aunt Debashree Roy, was an established Bengali actress and cousin, Kajol is an established Hindi movie actress. We can safely say that Rani Mukherjee love for acting is in her blood. She made her debut in 1992, when she was just 14, in his father's Bengali movie Biyar Phool. Though she got an offer in 1994 to act in another movie by Salim Akhtar, Rani Mukherjee love for films was not ripe enough and her father turned down the offer, as she is too young. However in 1996, her father agreed and allowed Rani Mukherjee is act in Salim Akhtar movie, Ki Aayegi Baraat. But, this film was not received well at box-office. This dampened Rani Mukherjee love for acting. She went back to the college. Rani Mukherjee had her schooling at Maneckjee Cooper High School, Juhu, She later enrolled at Mithibai College, Mumbai. She tried her hand again at acting, in 1998, with a role in Ghulam opposite Aamir Khan. This proved a commercial success. In this movie Rani Mukherjee love with Aamir khan was portrayed differently and her performance made people recognize her. The big break was soon to come her way in 1998 with the release of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This film had the established actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. In the movie, Kajol, playing tomboy girl role, silently loves the hero, but the story takes a turn - Rani Mukherjee love with the Hero and the hero in love with her. Rani Mukherjee won her first Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. No one is sure, but the rumor mills have their way that Kajol is not in talking terms with Rani, since that movie. Her movie Badal, opposite Bobby Doel, did well at box-office. Unluckily, many of her earlier movies did not do well. She had to wait till 2002 for another major successful movie- Saathiya and this gave rise to Rani Mukherjee love for success, which is only to come in abundance. She got plenty of success with Chalte Chalte, in 2003, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Her brilliant performance got her nominations in "Best Actress" category at all award ceremonies. Particularly, Rani Mukherjee love and dedication to play a role of blind and deaf girl in 'Black' made her undergo serious training at the the Hellen Keller Institute in Mumbai. Rani and Amitabh Bachchan gave their best performances and the movie Black swept all awards and deprived all other movies of awards that year. Rani Mukherjee love for the blind students is so overwhelming that she even celebrated her birthday with the students of the Helen Keller Institute for the Deaf and Blind, whom she considers as the biggest motivators behind her performance in Black. To be true I am in love with Rani Mukherjee. I have a great desire to make a film based on my Love story and Rani Mukherjee as the leading actress playing the role of my dream girl. She has a sexy image as she most people says that she is very sexy. She is so beautiful that many of my friends are crazy about her and keep her photo in their purse.
